The Hyatt Santa Barbara's special room rate for those attending the Santa Barbara Writers Conference is $209 per night plus tax on Saturday night, and $159 per night plus tax Sunday through Thursday night. Another, more affordable option for conference attendees is the Parkside Inn, which is located just two blocks away from the Hyatt Santa Barbara. The Parkside's special room rate for SBWC attendees is $129 per night plus tax Saturday through Thursday night. Reserve your stay here: Parkside Inn.
Last year the Hyatt sold out, so be sure to book your reservation early. The deadline for the SBWC group rate is May 7, 2014.
A number of other hotels and motels along Cabrillo Boulevard are just a short electric shuttle ride away.
