SwirlHyatt Santa Barbara

We have officially run out of block rate discounted rooms at the Hyatt, and I believe the hotel is fully booked for our conference dates outside our block. However, cancellations do occur and availability can change.

If you stay at a nearby hotel, there is a Santa Barbara shuttle that you can hop on to get from your hotel to the Hyatt.

My advice is to try the reservation link below first to see if you can book a room.

If not, do a Google search on "hotels on Cabrillo Boulevard Santa Barbara." There are a dozen or so hotels and motels close to the Hyatt with a range of prices from very reasonable to the sky's the limit. There are still rooms available and some so close it is almost like staying at the Hyatt.

If you have questions about finding a good place to stay, email

Below is the original information about booking a room at the Hyatt.

The deadline for the SBWC group rate is May 18 , 2017. But we have run out of discounted rooms as of May 4th.

We HAD a special room rate at the Hyatt Santa Barbara but...:

  • I just learned today that Hyatt block rate rooms are all booked, but we still have some block rate rooms in the main hotel see below
  • $209 (single occupancy) per night and $38 overnight parking, (or free parking close by on the street) in the hotel

For reservations call (888) 421-1442, or visit this reservation link: Santa Barbara Hyatt.

Hotel Information

The conference is held at the beautiful Hyatt Santa Barbara that looks out onto a stunning oceanfront. The hotel offers:

  • beautiful ocean and mountain views
  • luxurious air conditioned rooms with refrigerators, microwaves, and in-room coffee makers
  • wifi and data ports for online access
  • heated outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi
  • restaurant and bar

Across the street is the East Beach Grill, the Pacific Ocean and the 22-mile Cabrillo Beach walkway for runners, walkers and cyclists. Downtown Santa Barbara is within walking distance, as are Stearns Wharf and the Harbor, for more shops and restaurants.

A 20% discount will be offered for lunch and dinner in the restaurant for SBWC attendees (not valid for breakfast or room service).

A number of other hotels and motels along Cabrillo Boulevard are just a short electric shuttle ride away.
